The calm and spacious D’El Rey beach is located 21 km northwest of Óbidos, flanked by the Praia D’El Rey golf course and south of the Foz do Arelho. Wide and with high cliffs, the beach is 3 km long with excellent waters for fishing and good waves for surfing and body boarding. At this stage there is little infrastructural support, although the beach in front of the hotel is patrolled by lifeguards. Sun-loungers with fixed umbrellas can be hired. The average seawater temperature in summer is 17 ºC.
