Curia is a beautiful town in the foothills of the Serra de Estrêla and the Curia - Luso - Buçaco tourist triangle, it has many attractions apart from its Spa and Golf Course (see separate entries). Curia Park is magnificent and has a kilometre long lake where you can hire a boat or a pedalo and close by are the Curia Palace gardens. The picnic park, where many of Curia’s festivities take place, is at the end of the Avenida dos Plátanos, adjacent to the attractive railway station. Do try the delicious regional dishes at one of the many restaurants.
