Conceição Beach is named after the adjacent Nossa Senhora da Conceição Chapel and at low tide links up with the neighbouring Duquesa beach. Access is good by ramp or staircase from the promenade. Conditions at the beach are suitable for windsurfing, sailing and diving. Lifeguards are on duty in season, there are facilities for the disabled and the average seawater temperature in summer is 17-19 ºC. Parking is available and there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants.
