The late 17th/early 18th century Capelo de São Sebastião is of architectural interest due to the shape of the main chapel, which is cubic and covered by a semi-spherical calotte, as well as for the unusual longer, lower body of the church. Trompe d’oeil paintings on the walls and 18th century canvasses, depicting scenes from the life of Jesus and Our Lady, led to this chapel being made into a painting museum. Also of interest are the carvings, statuary, vestments and holy treasure. In the sacristy there is a fine display 17th century decorative tiles.
