The Botanical Museum is a scientific and cultural centre created to display exhibitions showing the alliance between man and nature. Through study of items made from plants, raw materials and natural objects, the visitor can discover the ingenuity of man and the creative power of the natural world. Collections of approximately 1,500 items, in different categories, are on display, including spices, gums & resins, fibres & dyes, aromatic & medicinal plants, oil plants, cereals & pulses, exotic seeds & fruits, psychoactive plants, natural objects and man-made substances.
