Birds and Nature Tours is Portugal’s only company specialising in bird tours and offers field tours, both half-day and full day, they also offer two day bird identification courses, normally at weekends. Tours are organised to cater for both expert and novice and are conducted by ornithologists with a wide knowledge of the Iberian Peninsula bird life. Transport is provided and visits are offered to the Tagus Estuary and Sado Estuary reserves, both of which are close to Lisbon. Tours can also be arranged to specific reserves in the Alentjo and Algarve regions.
