Situated close to the beach, but in pine groves and lakes on 345 acres, the two 18 hole golf courses of the Aroeira Golf Club have built a considerable reputation. One course was designed by Frank Pennink and the other by Donald Steel, they measure 6,040 and 6,311 metres respectively, both are par 72. Apart from normal clubhouse facilities there is a driving range, a putting green and a pro shop. Caddies are available and clubs, trolleys and buggies can be hired. There is a club bar and snacks, lunches and dinners are served.
