On the way to Lamas de Olo, which is located about 14 km north of Vila Real, take the turn off towards Agarez and Arnal. In the Galegos da Serra, between the two villages, there is a beautiful waterfall and old watermill; visit the Arnal museum and then continue to Lamas de Olo. The village is 1,000 metres above sea level and at this height the River Olo looks no more than a stream. There is a very old stone bridge on the way out and the tour then passes through Anta, Pioledo, Bilhó and back to Lamas de Olo.
