Alfarroba is a very popular resort and its beach is set in an extensive cove, separated from the coastal road by protective dunes. The beach is sheltered and there are excellent bathing conditions, which also suit surfing and body boarding. This is an EEC blue flag beach with lifeguards on duty in season and the average summer seawater temperature is 17-18 ºC. Parking is available and the beach is well serviced by bars, cafes and restaurants.
