The Diving Centre run by the Alentejo Divers puts on underwater trips along the Alentejan coastline from Cabo Sardão to Sines, in the river Mira and the Santa Clara dam. Dives are accompanied by a trained guide and they operate a semi-rigid Bombard boat with a 90-hp motor capable of transporting up to ten people. They offer diving courses ranging from PADI Courses to those for first timers. Courses are taught in Portuguese, German, English, French or Dutch. All staff are fully trained in First Aid and providing oxygen given that safety is the number one priority.
